Chelsea Football Club has announced a multi-year partnership with customer engagement platform Twilio to enhance fan experiences through personalisation and digital innovation.
The partnership will see Twilio serve as an official supplier to the UK soccer club, using its customer data platform, Twilio Segment, to provide deeper insights into Chelsea’s global fanbase of 615 million supporters.
By harnessing this technology, the Premier League club aims to create tailored experiences for fans, both at their home ground of Stamford Bridge and through digital channels. As part of the Chelsea FC Twilio partnership, the club is set to utilise advanced technology to create meaningful connections with fans across the world.
With Twilio’s data capabilities, the vendor claims Chelsea fans can expect a range of personalised interactions designed to strengthen their connection with the club.

The Chelsea FC Twilio partnership will integrate cutting-edge technology to offer personalised experiences across digital and in-stadium interactions. Fans entering the stadium may receive exclusive promotions, customised content featuring their favourite players, and recommendations for the best areas for half-time refreshments.
The club’s website and mobile app will integrate Twilio technology to tailor content, ensuring that supporters receive updates and offers relevant to their preferences.
The partnership will also drive increased engagement with Chelsea Women’s team by leveraging football technology and sports data analytics to provide personalised updates about fixtures, ticket availability, and other key information.
To mark this collaboration, Twilio is launching the ‘One in a Twilion’ award, which will honour women making an impact in technology teams.
Open to public nominations, the award will recognise outstanding contributions, with winners announced on March 5, 2025, ahead of International Women’s Day.
